Our History

Renaissance Motorcycles 1984Renaissance Mototrcycles was started back in 1978 in a small shop on Speedway Blvd. in Tucson, AZ by Steve Spreter. Steve's passion for Italian motorcycles was quite evident in the beginning, as he was the owner, mechanic, and salesman for the shop for many years. Steve's passion carries on today as the shop has grown, adding sales and shop people, and changing locations. Steve is now the president of Renaissance Motorcycles, Inc. and continues in his role as master mechanic.

Renaissance Motorcycles relocated to a larger building just over 1 year ago and is now located down the road from the original location. Although the business has seen steady growth throughout the years, Renaissance Motorcycles has retained it's small shop feel and vibe, and is still a cool place to hang. We have been doing business with some of our customers for nearly 3 decades.

Moto Guzzi and Ducati were the original lines carried by Renaissance. Since then we have added all of the major Italian brands imported into the United States including Aprilia, Vespa, and MV Agusta.

Race DucatiIn the early years, Renaissance Motorcycles was involved with various road racing projects.
Nowadays, Renaissance Motorcycles is primarily a street & road riding shop.

We like motorcycles and motorcycle people!
